Starting from July 24 there will be no train service between Haifa and Tel-Aviv for the entire week, we find this case interesting to suggest taking a new approach to communication design for transport announcements in Israel
We are a team of Olim Hadashim, who recently moved from Moscow: Daniel Baev, Mariia Ivanenko, former employees of Moscow Department of Transportation
We aim to deliver the most important points with headlines, so that a person would understand it in an instant. The headlines and text are customised based on the announcement location: in Tel Aviv where passengers are only partly affected by the closure the poster focuses on showing the overall picture for planning purposes. In Binyamina, on the other hand, the main focus is shifted towards showing directions to the buses for riding along the closed part of the railway, as it is the solution a passenger needs there on spot
We show bus routes between stations along the closed section, so every passenger could plan a new route in seconds
